OUR PERSPECTIVE

We believe that the beauty of nature is as well displayed in wood as anywhere, and that wood is possibly the most practical way to bring that beauty into the home or business. This, coupled with our desire to make the best use of all resources (we hate waste), has caused us to always search for better ways to use the trees we harvest. That is why we started selling only rough cut lumber and now we sell thousands of products including specialty beams, siding, Tongue & Groove paneling, flooring, mouldings, character slabs and mantles, cabinet stock, stair materials, picture frames, and much more. We also make use of all the by-products for pulp chips, animal bedding, landscaping bark and boiler fuel.

OUR PEOPLE

We also believe that the success of the business largely depends on the success of the people working with us. This means treating each other with respect and understanding of personal needs and sharing the success of the company with everyone involved. Each individual is shown the importance and value of their presence and of the responsibility which they are given. We want working at RBM to be a growing experience as well as a fun job.

OUR CUSTOMERS

Our business was built on filling the needs of individuals. Today we are proud to continue working with individuals whether they need one small piece of replacement trim, or flooring for an entire home. Our customers include people who are novice woodsmiths to accomplished experts. They are artists, cabinet makers, furniture makers, builders, flooring contractors, picture framers, rough- to finish-carpenters, weekend warriors, and woodworkers. This varied group of people, like all of us at RBM, have one thing in common -- they love wood.
